Dogs rescued after being trapped in deep ravine for two days

Two dogs who became trapped for two days in a deep ravine after chasing badgers near Naantali in south-western Finland were recovered after a six and a half hour rescue operation.

A friend of the owner of the dogs said 10-year-old Daphne the dachshund was recovering well, whilst the younger of the two, 4-year-old Ester, was still deeply traumatised.
